These covers are constructed using HippoSkin™, our waterproof outer shell, and are generously insulated with HippoFat™, a warm, flexible, closed-cell foam insulation. Both elements are engineered to provide effective protection against unfavorable weather conditions.
Whether you prefer to stand and ride or ride on various types of bikes, the Backcountry model is a versatile choice. It's also suitable for cruisers with hand guards or lever guards, including Harley motorcycles with brush/hand guards (we recommend Memphis Shades for Harleys). They come with a robust quilted interior and a flexible neoprene cuff, ensuring a secure fit on a wide range of bikes. Additionally, the Backcountry is equipped with a front reflective panel to enhance visibility in low-light situations, and it has a depth of 9 inches.
Please note that hand/brush guards are essential for proper fitting and safety. Installing and removing Hippo Hands is a quick process that doesn't require any tools or hardware.
